Primary Responsibilities
The Sr. Cloud Software Team Lead performs all the activities involved in managing and supporting cloud based IoT applications and systems. They will lead a team of software developers to review, analyze, and develop systems including configurations, testing, debugging and deployments. A strong understanding of Azure must be possessed.
* Lead the design, development, and delivery of software applications
* Provide estimates and report status updates for software development projects
* Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are documented sufficiently
* Implement and monitor development standards and processes
* Maintain and enhance performance of applications
* Provide leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship
* Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.
* Participate in the strategic vision and alignment of enterprise IoT systems and their respective roadmaps.
* Conduct research into software application products and services
* Make recommendations for support process improvement and implement changes.
* Assist with prioritization and scheduling of all instances where enhancements and defect resolution are required.
* Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent repeated future problems.
* Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders.
