RED is searching for a ServiceNow CMDB Solution Architect in India for a remote contract role. The candidate must have effective communication with the business side and team.

Offshore ServiceNow CMDB Solution Architect Role-REMOTE in India
Objective:
To enhance CMDB stability, accuracy, and governance by aligning with Flexera IT Visibility and Technology Intelligence capabilities, ensuring data integrity, automation, and integration with ServiceNow. This role will also oversee CMDB deployment cleanup efforts to maintain data quality and system stability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. CMDB Data Architecture & Governance (Expanded)
- Define CMDB cleanup strategy by identifying stale, orphaned, duplicate, and misclassified CIs. - Implement automated cleanup scripts and reconciliation policies to maintain CMDB integrity. - Establish CMDB governance guardrails to prevent future data pollution.
2. Flexera IT Visibility & ServiceNow CMDB Integration
- Oversee Flexera IT Visibility integration cleanup to remove incorrectly classified assets and refine normalization rules. - Conduct a baseline vs. post-integration data accuracy audit to validate successful ingestion and enrichment.
3. Technology Intelligence & Data Quality
- Apply Technology Intelligence for enhanced CI classification and lifecycle management. - Improve discovery accuracy by tuning ServiceNow Discovery patterns and removing redundant data sources.
4. Deployment Cleanup & CMDB Stability
- Conduct a full deployment audit to assess accuracy, completeness, and consistency of CIs. - Define corrective action plans for: - Overlapping CI sources causing duplication. - Incorrect CI relationships and ownership assignments. - Unreliable discovery sources creating bad data. - Work with ServiceNow platform teams to optimize IRE rules and reduce conflicts in CI reconciliation. - Ensure deployment best practices are documented and followed for new CI onboarding.
5. Ongoing Stability & Maintenance
- Set up real-time dashboards for CMDB health metrics, data accuracy, and stale CI tracking. - Define CMDB cleanup automation schedules (e.g., aged CIs auto-archiving, inactive software/hardware purging).
-Work closely with onshore CMDB governance teams to oversee data quality KPIs and reporting.
