RED Global - SCI CE Core Developer - June 2026 Contract - Start ASAP
On behalf of our Global Key Partner, RED is currently looking for a SCI CE Core Developer to join us.

Location: Romania
Language: English, German preferred
Requirements:
Scope of Task - The external contractor takes on the following tasks within the project, which are carried out independently:
- Development and improving features for Nova and Cinder services with VMware backend and operating the Nova and Cinder services
- Writing Kubernetes helm charts for deployments
- Creation of monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana
Skills:
- Excellent programming skills. Preferred programming language Python (Python and Go would be the languages we are working with, there are no alternatives)
- Experience with VMware virtualisation technologies
- Experience with Container technologies like Kubernetes and Linux administration skills.
- Expert knowledge with OpenStack Nova and Cinder and Openstack upstream development experience.
