QA Architect / 6-Month Contract / 17th March start date / Fully remote
About the Role:
We're looking for a QA Architect with expertise in UI testing, visual testing tools, and DevOps. You'll play a key role in shaping the testing strategy for our client, ensuring high-quality user interfaces through automation and best practices.
Experience Required:
- 7+ years in Quality Assurance, including 3+ years in a leadership or architect role.
- Expertise in automated UI testing using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Applitools, Percy, and TestComplete.
- Strong background in DevOps and experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with performance and load testing tools like JMeter and LoadRunner.
- Skilled in integrating UI test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cross-browser testing and responsive design principles.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Deep understanding of UI/UX principles, ensuring usability, visual consistency, and design accuracy.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java for UI test automation.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks, visual regression testing, and cross-browser testing.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native DevOps.
- Ability to explain complex testing concepts to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, fostering high-performing QA teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
