RED Global - Oracle EPBCS Developer - Contract Opportunity - Remote - India

On behalf of a global client, RED is currently looking for a senior Oracle EPBCS developer to join their team and support them with their ongoing project.

Location: Remote + Occasional travel may be required to Chennai
Capacity: 5 Days/week, 8 Hours/day
Duration: 6 Months + Extension
Start Date: 01/04/2025
NOTE : This is a contract opportunity, not a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and customize Oracle EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service) applications based on business requirements.
• Develop business rules, calculation scripts, and data integration processes to ensure seamless data flow and accuracy within the EPBCS system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, functional consultants, and stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform data migrations, ensuring smooth transfer and loading of data into Oracle EPBCS from different systems.
• Integrate Oracle EPBCS with other Oracle EPM Cloud applications or external systems using tools like FDMEE, ODI, or APIs.
• Provide ongoing support for report development using tools like Smart View and Essbase, ensuring that the organization can generate accurate financial reports.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring optimal performance, accuracy, and functionality of Oracle EPBCS applications.
• Maintain, monitor, and enhance existing Oracle EPBCS applications to meet evolving business needs.
• Ensure the system complies with data security and compliance standards, particularly in relation to financial data.
• Write technical documentation and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Oracle EPBCS or other Oracle EPM Cloud products (e.g., PBCS, Financial Consolidation and Close).
• Minimum 10+ years of overall experience
• Strong knowledge of EPM Automation, Business Rules, Calculation Scripts, and Data Management within Oracle EPBCS.
• Experience in data integration, including tools like ODI, FDMEE, or Data Management.
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and understanding of relational databases.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and integration with Oracle Cloud applications is a plus.
• Familiarity with Smart View, Essbase, and other reporting tools within the Oracle EPM ecosystem.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues within the EPBCS environment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Knowledge of data security and compliance within the context of Oracle EPBCS.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other Oracle EPM tools such as Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS) or Enterprise Performance Reporting (EPR).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies for project delivery.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Oracle BI or Tableau is a plus.
