Role Purpose
The position of Director of Business Systems will lead and help set the roadmap for Business Systems. This will include ERP, CRM, WMS, BI and other business applications used at the company. The director business systems will lead a team of both internal and external Business Analysts, Technical Analysts and Developers. The position should understand best practices as it comes to business processes and how to align those into systems.

Job Description
* Server as a key liaison to Senior Management
* Participate in developing short-term and long-term plans for all business systems
* Execute plans on time and in budget
* Collaborate with business users and management to identify, document and communicate business needs and provide technical solutions
* Develop project plans
* Provide an environment of trust, transparency, and camaraderie not only across the IT organization, but throughout the company
* Plan, analyze, and validate business needs both functional and technical
* Analyze current and future technology to determine if they align with company goals and objectives
* Ability to work in an Agile environment and plan and execute sprints
* Ensure following of best practices around change management and security controls
* Provide leadership and guidance to the business systems team
Skills Required
* Strong communication and influencing skills
* Experience leading development
* Experience implementing ERP solutions
* Experience delivering custom solutions for business systems
* Experience integrating different business systems
* 5+ years as a Technology Leader
* 5+ years working with ERP, CRM and WMS
* Ability to coach and develop team skills
* Expertise in mapping as-is and future state technology
* Experience in the entire SDLC
* Experience with management and planning tools such as Jira, Miro, Figma, Confluence
* Experience in developing and maintaining documentation and work instructions
* Experience in creating functional and technical design documents
* Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
* Excellent organizational skills with ability to team with others to develop and implement complex projects
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
* Ability to work onsite
