I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a key partner of RED Global for a Cloud & Infrastructure Automation Engineer role.
· Start Date: ASAP
· Duration: 12 months (with the possibility to extend long term)
· Workload: Full-time
· Location: hybrid, South Yorkshire, England
This role focuses on Ansible, Python, and CI/CD (Jenkins) to automate storage provisioning, configuration, and monitoring at an enterprise scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing & optimizing Ansible playbooks and Python scripts for storage automation.
- Integrating automation with RESTful APIs, third-party storage platforms, and vendor tools.
- Building and managing Ansible Tower/AWX workflows and job templates.
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines to streamline infrastructure automation.
- Ensuring security, compliance, and best practices in automation workflows.
